Plain English — not legal advice.
Operators of licensed mobile home parks, recreational vehicle parks, and campgrounds subject to N.D.C.C. § 23-10-10 generally ensure that all applicable rules and regulations are either posted in a prominent location or individually distributed to each tenant in digital or hard-copy form. Compliant operators obtain the required materials from the department at no charge rather than producing their own versions. Keeping documentation of how and when materials were posted or distributed is a common practice among operators seeking to demonstrate compliance.

Under N.D.C.C. § 23-10-10, tenants of licensed mobile home parks, recreational vehicle parks, and campgrounds have a right to receive or have access to the park's rules and regulations, either through conspicuous posting or direct distribution of a digital or printed copy. If a park's management has not made these materials available, that failure may be relevant to any dispute or complaint involving park rules. Tenants who believe this requirement has not been met may consider contacting the state department that oversees park licensing or reaching out to a local tenant-rights organization for general guidance.
