Under Nev. Rev. Stat. ch. 118B § 118B.070, landlords of manufactured home parks in Nevada are required to give each new tenant a copy of the full text of Chapter 118B alongside the rental agreement, and to distribute copies of any added, amended, or repealed provisions to all tenants within 180 days of those changes taking effect. Every copy provided must include a clearly printed notice containing the contact information for the Nevada Housing Division of the Department of Business and Industry, covering both Southern and Northern Nevada offices as well as an internet address. This rule ensures tenants have direct access to the governing law and a clear path to the state agency that oversees their rights.

For Property Managers

Operators of manufactured home parks subject to Nev. Rev. Stat. ch. 118B § 118B.070 generally maintain an up-to-date copy of the full Chapter 118B text to attach to every new rental agreement at signing. Compliant operators also track legislative changes to Chapter 118B and distribute updated provisions to all current tenants within the 180-day window after each change becomes effective. Each document delivered under this section includes the required legible, typewritten notice with current contact details for the Nevada Housing Division's Southern Nevada and Northern Nevada offices and its internet address.

For Tenants

Nev. Rev. Stat. ch. 118B § 118B.070 gives manufactured home park tenants the right to receive a copy of the full Chapter 118B text when they sign their rental agreement, as well as copies of any future changes to that chapter within 180 days of those changes taking effect. Each copy must come with a notice listing the contact information for the Nevada Housing Division of the Department of Business and Industry, which tenants can reach directly to ask questions about their rights. Tenants who did not receive these materials may consider contacting the Housing Division, consulting a tenant-rights organization, or raising the omission as relevant context in any dispute proceeding.
