For Property Managers

Nev. Admin. Code ch. 118B § 118B.390 places a clear procedural obligation on manufactured home park managers when a resident has applied for state assistance. A compliant manager watches for certification forms mailed by the Division, gathers accurate tenancy details—including the resident's monthly rent, lot number and size, and tenancy start date—and returns the completed, signed, and notarized form within the five-day window. Keeping organized tenant records makes it straightforward to respond accurately and on time whenever the Division initiates this process.

For Tenants

Nev. Admin. Code ch. 118B § 118B.390 establishes that once a manufactured home park resident submits an assistance application, the Division takes steps to verify tenancy details directly with the park manager. Residents can be aware that their manager is required by this provision to provide accurate information—such as rent amount, lot details, and tenancy start date—within five days of receiving the form. If a tenant believes their manager has provided inaccurate information or failed to respond, reaching out to the Nevada Division or a local tenant-rights organization may help clarify available options.
