Section 177-9 gives tenants context for understanding that a landlord's rental registration certificate can be revoked if the property has unresolved code violations or if the registration was obtained improperly. Tenants who are aware of building maintenance or safety concerns may contact the City of Lackawanna to inquire about the status of a property's registration or to report conditions that may implicate Chapter 75 or other relevant code sections.
