Plain English

Section 178-45 of Hornell's Code of Ordinances requires that all installations, alterations, and repairs to mobile homes and mobile home courts meet New York State safety standards and comply with applicable state statutes and regulations. When work on mobile home court buildings and their accessory structures conforms to the New York State Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code, that conformity serves as prima facie evidence that the work is reasonably safe. This provision establishes a baseline safety standard tied directly to state law rather than setting entirely independent local criteria.
