For Property Managers

Under Fulton, N.Y., Code of Ordinances ch. 475 § 475-60.4, compliant property owners ensure that exterior address numbers meet the four-inch height and half-inch stroke-width minimums, are rendered in a durable method other than spray or brush paint, and remain visible and legible from the street at all times. Owners of multi-unit buildings additionally label every dwelling unit and sleeping unit entrance with conforming Arabic numerals so that emergency responders can immediately identify each unit. Operators who receive a formal order to remedy should be aware that a $250 monthly fee accrues for each month the property remains out of compliance, making prompt corrective action a standard part of property management practice under this code.
