Operators subject to Ann Arbor — Ch. 97 Short-Term Rentals § 7:655 generally keep their license application current by notifying the city whenever operational details change, rather than making undisclosed modifications. Compliant operators ensure the unit is run in accordance with all license conditions, local ordinances, and state law to avoid triggering suspension or revocation proceedings. Because each day of noncompliance can constitute a separate civil infraction carrying a fine of up to $500, maintaining accurate records and prompt communication with the city are practices associated with ongoing compliance.
