For Property Managers

Under § 22-507, compliant rental property owners and operators in Skokie generally complete the Village Seminar within three months of initial registration and retain documentation of that completion for future renewal cycles. Owners who have prior professional training comparable to the seminar's content can submit a waiver application to the Village Manager or designee, who makes the final determination. When an operator changes, owners ensure the new operator attends the seminar, and owners with multiple code violations within 18 months should be aware that re-attendance may be required.
